Berlin Interests, Inc. was established in 1986 as a family-owned business, including affiliated entities which facilitate acquisitions, development, management and sale of properties. Ron and Eric are the principals in the company along with other family members.

Ron Berlin
Founder
Ron Berlin is a seasoned real estate leader with more than 40 years in the industry touching multi-family, land, office, retail, manufactured housing, residential and medical projects. He has a background in public and private companies including serving as Chief Executive Officer for a publicly traded real estate organization with over 88,000 multi-family units and more than 6 million square feet of commercial space throughout the United States. Ron founded Berlin Interests more than 30 years ago. He or an affiliate will act as Principal and/or General Partner for each property acquisition, management and disposition. He uses his extensive experience having lived through turbulent economic environments to analyze property value and potential, and evaluate overall financial and tax strategies for each unique situation. He is recognized for his degree of integrity and commitment to building wealth for high net worth individuals, companies, and his own family partnerships. His reputation is based on the highest consideration for closing transactions, once an initial commitment has been made. He has been able to build a cohesive family business.

Eric Berlin
President
Eric Berlin, a graduate of the University of Texas, joined the company in 2006 after six years with Venture Commercial as a land and leasing broker where he excelled at site selection, land acquisition and client representation for several major retail companies. He is experienced in analyzing and acquiring retail, commercial and land sites for development or investment. Many of his projects required financing and construction oversight. He has been successful at obtaining environmental approvals for environmentally sensitive properties. He has also successfully re-zoned many Dallas/Fort Worth area commercial and residential properties in numerous cities. He has a keen ability to consider tax consequences and overall business opportunities for potential investors. He or an affiliate will act as Principal and/or General Partner for each property acquisition, management and disposition. During the most recent turbulent times, Eric played a key roll in acquiring a pool of distressed real estate deals. He has a strong background in ranch management, development and acquisition. He has been responsible for the company's natural gas interest acquisition in the Barnett Shale. Eric is married and has three children, and is a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Partner
Gail Berlin is a partner in Berlin Interests. She provides industry expertise for potential healthcare tenants. She has over 25 years experience consulting and managing operations for health plans, hospitals and outpatient services. 
Dan Townsley
Ranch Manager
Dan Townsley is leading our property maintenance and security teams. He has a background in landscape management and building improvements. Recently having moved with his wife from Michigan, he is an avid outdoorsman and spends time at the Berlin Ranch in Oklahoma. 
Judge Platt
Principal/Broker
Judge Platt is the broker of record for Berlin Interests Real Estate, and is a licensed broker in both Texas and Oklahoma. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University. He then obtained his MBA from SMU Cox School of Business, followed by his law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law.
